  • Q: What do you charge for delivery?

    A: Our delivery fee within the Austin area will typically be $40. Delivery locations outside of the Austin area are calculated by distance traveled.
     
  • Q: What is your delivery/pick up policy?

    A: For wedding cakes we personally deliver and set up your cake at your reception location. We typically deliver approximately one hour before an event begins. This will allow us to set up and be out of the way before your guests arrive. This also ensures that your cake will not be sitting for an extended period of time before your event begins. For small special occasion/party cakes, pick-up is available by appointment.
     
  • Q: We would like both a bride's & groom's cake, how many guests should each serve?

    A: For your bride's cake, you should plan on serving your total estimated guests...everyone will want a piece of your wedding cake! For your groom's cake we recommend serving approximately 30%-50% of your total estimated guests.

     
  • Q: How far in advance should I place my cake order?

    A: We suggest placing your order as far in advance as possible. We often book weeks or even months ahead of time depending upon the season/time of year. During peak seasons we limit our number of cake orders per weekend in order to maintain our high level of quality. Please contact us to check our availability for your date.
     
  • Q: How much do your cakes cost?

    A: In general, our pricing starts at $3.50 per serving for our cake flavors without an additional filling...please refer to the "Flavors and Pricing" section of the website. For our sculpted novelty cakes, pricing is individual, based both on the complexity of the design and the number of people being served.

     
  • Q: How can I schedule a tasting?

    A: We work by appointment only. Please contact us directly by telephone or email to schedule a consultation/tasting. As part of your consultation, we will provide you with three small samples (flavors) of cake. If there is a specific flavor you are interested in, please let us know when you schedule your tasting. We will do everything we can to provide the flavor(s) you have requested.
     
  • Q: What flavors of cake do you offer, and will you make custom flavors?

    A: Please refer to the "Flavors and Pricing" section of the website. If there is a particular flavor you are interested in that is not on our flavor list, please let us know. We welcome suggestions and have baked custom flavors and "favorite recipes" for our clients in the past.
     
  • Q: Do you have a minimum order?

    A: Yes, we do have a minimum order.  We do not schedule orders less than $100.  This is due to the fact that we are a specialty bakery and do not bake in mass quantities.  Each cake we make is customized and baked fresh for your occasion.  By limiting our orders, we are able to provide a higher level of individual attention to your special cake.
     
  • Q: What are your payment terms?

    A: You may either pay the full balance upon booking, or you may put down a 20% deposit to hold the date and then pay the balance in full no later than two weeks prior to your event.
